We are proud to announce the successful delivery of a vital infrastructure project at Wexham Park Hospital, enhancing the efficiency of its Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) within the Pathology Division. This project focused on the replacement of washers within the sterile services ventilation system, ensuring the hospital maintains the highest hygiene and infection control standards
The project involved a coordinated and carefully phased intervention to ensure minimal disruption to the hospital’s clinical functions. Key aspects included:
· Replacement of existing washer-disinfectors
· Relocation of washers and associated internal partitions
· Integration of associated mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems

Given the technical complexity and the sterile nature of the environment, this project required meticulous planning, close collaboration with NHS Trust stakeholders, and full compliance with healthcare guidelines.
Our team delivered full architectural services and contract administration across all RIBA Stages 1–5. This ensured continuity from early design through to project completion, providing consistency in design intent, construction quality, and client communication.

We extend our thanks to all consultants, contractors, and the hospital’s Capital Projects team for their collaboration throughout the delivery.
