AHP have been appointed to produce and deliver designs for the refurbishment and retrofit of the 16-storey residential tower block situated in Nechells Green, River Towers. The design objectives are to improve fire safety, thermal performance, and visual appeal.
To meet current fire regulations and improve overall aesthetic of the towers, AHP plans involved removing the existing cladding and windows and replacing these with an EWI rendered cladding system. The works are currently ongoing and are due to finish Easter 2022.
Due to the success of this project, AHP have been appointed to develop the CGI designs for the elevational refurbishment of Edgbaston Towers.
