Daniel Kelsall
Associate Director
Dan joined AHP in early 2023 as a Part II Architectural Assistant and has since become an integral member of the practice, contributing to a wide range of projects. During his tenure, he successfully completed his professional studies and is now fully chartered as an Architect, registered with both the ARB and RIBA. In recognition of his consistent success in delivering multiple projects, as well as his strong design judgement, rigorous problem solving approach, and proven leadership capabilities, Dan was promoted to Associate Director in April 2025.
Dan’s principal expertise lies in the delivery of PAS 2035–compliant retrofit projects across Birmingham and Bristol. His work focuses on the sensitive improvement of existing council housing stock, with particular emphasis on enhancing thermal performance, reducing energy consumption, improving resident comfort, and limiting the external spread of fire - playing a key role in delivering sustainable, compliant, and resilient homes. He also leads the delivery of various commercial projects from the Lichfield office.
Prior to joining AHP, Dan gained experience delivering housing and care sector projects through his own architectural practice.
Outside of work, Dan devotes much of his time to his young family. He is a keen supporter of West Bromwich Albion and enjoys playing tennis and swimming.
