The Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust undertake research into bone marrow transplant and

operate as a charity, funded solely through donations and fundraising events.  Due to the complexity of this work, their existing laboratories at Hampstead, London were considered too small and a new facility was required.

AHP were commissioned to undertake outline design and space planning to allow the new building to be constructed within a restricted site, adjacent to the Trust’s original laboratories.  Designed over 2½ storeys, the building provides extensive laboratory, research and meeting rooms.  Detailed design was undertaken under a D&B contract with AHP acting as Employer’s Agent.
