Completed in January 2022 following an 18 month construction phase Design & Build
contract.

AHP were retained by LSHTM in a Technical Advisory role through RIBA Stages 4, 5 & 6.
This was a 5 storey yard building within a land-locked site of nearly 4,000m2 comprising
dry laboratories, meeting rooms, classrooms plant rooms and a basement. Following
plan checks of the Stage 4 designs, once on site, AHP provided monthly reports on site
progress and adherence to Employer Requirements along with a review of compliance
with Approved Documents (Building Regulations) and general workplace standards and
guidelines.

AHP also attended progress meetings and design team meetings on behalf of LSHTM to
assist the School design development offered by the contractor’s team of designers.
