Richard completed an honours degree in Architectural Technology in 2002. Since then, he’s gained a broad knowledge base working within a number of construction sectors including time at two of the UK’s largest engineering consultancies.  Richard was promoted to the role of Associate Director in 2022 having previously helps roles of Technician and Senior Technician within AHP.

Since joining AHP in 2007, Richard has been given the opportunity to focus on the management of projects covering education, healthcare and residential sectors. Due to his detailed construction knowledge, strong AutoCAD techniques and being a long-time advocate of the use of BIM methods within the construction process, Richard assists with the management and implementation of our Autodesk Revit processes and delivery.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys family life and became a proud father to his daughter Ella in 2012. Richard has a passion for music and in particular enjoys making his own dance music tracks, and DJ’ing whenever he is given the opportunity.
