Having started his career as an architectural assistant with the government agency, the PSA, Phil now has over 35 years of experience designing and managing projects in both the public and the private sectors. Having set up his own development company, Phil’s business merged with AHP in 2001 when he became a joint owner of AHP Architects and Surveyors Ltd.

Phil has successfully developed a number of schemes, most recently the business has developed a new GP surgery that now forms part of the company’s property portfolio.

Phil has day-to-day management responsibility for the company. Many of the business systems have been devised and implemented by Phil, including accreditations to ISO 9001, Constructionline and CHAS.

​

He has also managed some of the larger design projects at AHP, having spent many years previously working on multi-million pound schemes elsewhere in the industry. Phil heads up Magnum Opus Developments Ltd, AHP’s sister company that delivers property development schemes.

Outside of AHP Phil’s hobbies include golf, skiing, and motor sport. Phil also enjoys spending his spare time carrying out property restorations.
