AHP were appointed to produce detailed drawings and discharge planning conditions by the design and build contractor. The new two-storey building is located on the northern side of the school site and contains a new kitchen/dining room facility, two specialist classrooms and four larger modern classrooms along with group work rooms and sensory and soft play rooms. In addition to the new building, the existing building has undergone an extensive refurbishment and modernisation programme. The work incorporated modern design features and sustainability with solar panels, reduced drainage run-off and efficient insulation and heating.
