Mixed use residential and retail development
This scheme involved the planning and submission to the Local Authority for a mixed use town centre development, comprising 4,000ft² of retail space and 62 apartments.
Planning permission was granted under delegated powers following extensive negotiation, including a complex Section 106 Agreement. 3D modelling, artist impressions and computer photomontage work were all utilised to demonstrate how this difficult site was integrated amongst the existing buildings. We also produced detailed planning statements, parking surveys and flood risk assessments to support the application. We also advised our client on the most appropriate form of development agreement suited to the Housing Association.
