AHP were commissioned by the appointed design and build contractor to construct a new, 210m² single storey children's centre that needed to provide a suitable teaching environment for reception aged pupils, whilst providing flexible spaces for extracurricular teaching and adult activities.

AHP technically developed the interesting concept design of a hexagon shaped floor planned building, which had already received planning permission, into a drawing package for the construction stage of the project. Working closely with electrical, mechanical and structural engineers, the complex technical and design issues complemented the aesthetic vision realised at planning stage.
