Working under the design and build contractor, we were appointed at an early stage of the project as lead consultant for this scheme which saw a new build secondary school near the rural village of Hadlow in Kent.

The school was designed around an outdoor courtyard that is the central hub of the school. The buildings wrap around the courtyard to provide shelter on the exposed site.

The school has a rural ethos and along with the traditional academic subjects, it allows the pupils to study in the outdoor environment in areas such as agriculture, horticulture and animal care.
