AHP were appointed to realise Slough Borough Council's creative vision for the renovation of their chambers and head office in the heart of Slough. Working with contractor, Bouygues UK and the Council's in-house team, AHP produced the working drawing package for the scheme which saw the council's tired 5 storey offices transformed into a contemporary working environment.

 

The Council encourage their staff to adopt a hot-desking approach and so open plan, flexible space including meeting areas in varying sizes formed part of the design. Breakout and touchdown spaces are also important features of the scheme along with biophilic design elements to bring the outside in.
