Work at Wexham Park Hospital Paediatric unit continues. The first phase of work in the outpatient department has been completed and 14 bed bays now refurbished within the main paediatric ward. Work continues on the isolation rooms and main play areas, where the use of printed vinyl flooring, extensive wall graphics and colours is expected to make a big difference to the young patients.
Looking ahead, new nurse bases are being installed in both the ward and assessment units, together with a sensory room funded through charitable legacy funds. Works are anticipated to be completed by July 2017
