A new Critical Care Unit has opened at St Peter's Hospital after a 16 week programme of works.
AHP were appointed as lead designers for the scheme which provides a further 9 critical care beds on the St Peter's Hospital site. The area was remodelled from a suite of non-clinical offices and meeting rooms to provide a much needed clinical function.
Extensive engineering services were co-ordinated within the design and included a new external plant room to provide additional space for new ventilation plant and electrical services, to support the highly serviced CCU.
Phase 2 of the project is now underway, upgrading the original HDU ward.
