This week, the government approved plans for Hinkley Point, the new £18bn nuclear power station in the UK. The new plant in Somerset is being financed by the French and Chinese governments.
Hinkley Point will meet 7% of Britain’s electricity needs and will create more than 25,000 jobs.
AHP have been appointed to assist with the development of the accommodation for the key workers. The Accommodation Village will include over 500 single person accommodation units spread over 15 buildings in a modern residential scheme, designed to complement the larger site.
